Security Deposit
Clear, simple, and fully refundable — everything you need to know about the security deposit.
How the Deposit Works
One-Time Deposit
A refundable security deposit is collected at enrolment. It is a one-time payment, not a monthly charge.
Refundable on Leaving
The deposit is returned when a student withdraws, after clearance of all outstanding dues.
Adjusted Against Dues
Any outstanding fees, fines, or damages may be adjusted against the deposit at withdrawal.
Held in Escrow
Deposits are held separately and never used for school operations — they are always returned.
Refund Process
- Submit a written withdrawal notice as per the migration policy
- Clear all outstanding dues and return school property (books, uniform, devices)
- The refund is processed within 30 days of clearance
- Refunds are issued by cheque or bank transfer to the registered guardian
When It May Be Applied
In rare cases, part of the deposit may be used to settle genuine charges incurred by the school — for example, unreturned books, damaged equipment, or un-cleared dues. A full itemised statement is always shared with the family in such cases.
The exact deposit amount is published in the current fee structure and is the same for every family in a given class level.
